Where is everybody?

Early in March this year, I decided to embark on a six month journey to plumb the depths of my character and to see what matters to me as compared to else. How differences add up? And how they provide a tremendous insight into myself. Signing into Facebook, and to practice discernment each day, to make good choices and link it with my concerns and values provided a very rich experience. Even though I am introvert, I could see we are same and reach common ground even though we are different. Has it changed my opinion on difference? Wrapping self-insights in postings and witnessing with awe how the algorithms craft a matching, engaging, and empathetic experience while taking on tangential or core aspects prompted me to appreciate how subtle and relevant the online experience became via Facebook piece by piece. Now, has it shaped my view on the platform? I see Facebook as a tremendous opportunity to know myself, what moves me, what sparks me, what prods me as an ever-evolving puzzle, my ideas began to take shape, my shape, with a landscape of culture, history, society, education, nearly every monumental choice that shapes me in the background. Coming to the technical prowess of the Facebook platform, it emulated scaffolding via algorithms giving space for personalizing. I kept on learning about Facebook while Facebook kept on learning about me and it turned out to be a great revelatory experience.

I conclude this post with the following insight I'd like all to dwell on: "Differences make us grow irrespective of whether we march towards or away from choices."
